Below are details of projects where we have been called in to fix issues or problems left where previous teams have walked away for whatever reason.
'Legal issues'
We were contacted by a company who previously got a Court building surveyed and 3D modelled. Sometime later they found out that the layouts and levels were wrong - Corridors didn't line up, doors weren't on levels, Floors were wrong heights, there was a level that wasn't on the building.
Over two visits CCMS figured out where the original company had gone wrong and rectified it supplying a correct Revit model to the client.
'Bright spark of the North'
CCMS were approached by a Building Services organisation to run and maintain the services drawings and models for an £8M Substation project taking over from a company who left the file disorganised, Referenced wrong, Numbers wrong and not following the end clients requirements.
This includes delivering Working/installation drawings for all services with dimensions and tags, amending modelled services to PointCloud and taking drawings to Construction issue and supplying LOD300 Revit Model
Office Complex
CCMS were to carry out validation and correction surveys for a 5 block office complex after it was discovered the the existing Revit model was wrong.
Levels were corrected, Buildings amended to correct sizes, Buildings that weren't modelled were measured and modelled, All Ceiling heights were amended and all ceiling drop-downs and features were surveyed and modelled. A corrected Revit model was supplied to the client.
Church Street
CCMS were asked to complete a survey on a building because the surveyor turned up to site and after an hour they decided that they couldn't complete because only about 5% of walls were parrallel to others.
After a very long survey day with lots of triangular measurements with laser and 3 days CAD time, the client was supplied with accurate 2D plans.
